But whenever he's not scarfing down food, he wants us to hold him up so he can see whatever we're slicing, dicing, mixing, or sauteing. Now, I don't know if you have ever tried mixing/cleaning/baking with one arm, but it can get pretty difficult. So to keep us from getting over-developed left arm bicepts from holding Ethan so much, we pulled ouy our step stool so he can climb up and be part of the action.

And what would a Jello dessert be without some whipped cream to go on top. Ethan likes it when I do dessert with him - he get to sneak in a taste while Mom has her back turned!
And his talents don't stop with cooking. He's also an expert at ordering pizza should anything disasterous happen in the kitchen...
