In Burbank and Aneheim (the LA area), we did some super touristy things.
We took a tour of the Kodak Theatre (where the Academy Awards are held) 
The tour even let us sit in the seats where our favorite celebs once sat (but they wouldn't let us take any pics, sorry!)
Grauman's Theatre where many movie premieres are held (the night before was the premiere of Pineapple Express) and where Sid Grauman invites Hollywood friends to sign and put footprints and handprints in the concrete
Taking our first peek at Sleeping Beauty's castle in Disneyland - it's much smaller than Cinderella's (poor Beauty)
Taking a ride on the ferris wheel in California Adventure

Oh..I miss California at times. When you live there and pass these places 3 or 4 times in a day..it just doesn't mean as much. Gene and I lived 5 minutes from Kodak and so we were there a lot. We would take the kids to El Capitan to watch all the Disney Flicks. Good Memories!!
