With the summer rapidly coming to a close, we made the most of our time before school started.
Ethan and Jill came out to see Me and Gene play in a softball tournament. During the middle of the day. In August. Yes, I think we're crazy too.
We also got together with some friends. It's amazing how fast the kids grow up!:
During some of the downtime in the evenings, we got in a little bit of Guitar Hero!
On one of the recent play days, Ethan went with Emmy to go to the Children's museum. They had a great time!
Ethan spent A LOT of time in the play room this summer. He had some great conversations with Elmo....
...And pretended to be Smitty from the Imagination Movers!
And finally, Ethan exercised his creative side by drawing, painting, and playing with Play-Do. He's getting really good at making snakes and pancakes:
It was a great summer! Jill enjoyed her time off, but now it's back to school for everyone!
