The Comfy Chair

Last weekend (before Labor Day) we went shopping with Brad's parents to find a nice, comfy chair for the nursery. We went around to a few stores and found some options as well as an obscure Monty Python reference.

We drove around to USA Baby, Baby's 1st Furniture, and Star Furniture (we gave it a shot even though it didn't have the word "baby" in the name).

Ken will tell you that shopping for an easy chair is no easy task...



The next day we set out to Gallery Furniture to see what they had in the way of chairs. Surely with a "Red Hot Summer Super Sale" we would be able to find something.



Brad tried chair after chair, but alas, to no avail...



So it dawned on us that if the right chair isn't sitting in a showroom, perhaps it is sitting in a catalog! That afternoon we went back to USA Baby and looked through their Dutailier catalog to find the chair and then picked out a fabric.



In the end, we settled on an upholstered Dutailier glider. Here's a picture from the catalog. The only down side is that the chair won't be in for 60-90 days.



This beat out Brad's second choice of another folding chair (with cup holders)!
