Cool Baby Product of the Month

I stumbled up on this handy little device while checking out some of parenting sites:

ITZBEEN™ Baby Care Timer was invented by a new mom and dad who found themselves sleep-deprived and needing help to remember baby care details like when their baby last ate or napped. They tried charts and journals, but thought there had to be a better way. So they invented one. And alas, ITZBEEN™ was born. ITZBEEN™ has four timers that count up with the touch of a button, and a host of other helpful features, all designed with the needs of a new parent in mind.

One-touch Timers Count up to display how long it's been since important baby care tasks were last completed.

Optional Alarms Allows parents to set time limits for each task. If the time limit is reached the button will light up and an optional alarm will briefly sound.

Nursing Reminder Easily reminds mom which side baby nursed from last.

Other Features ITZBEEN™ has other thoughtful features that make it even more helpful to new parents, such as a back clip for portability, a soft-glow nightlight to help parents find their way in the dark and a backlight to illuminate the display.

When Ethan was born, I printed out a schedule in spreadsheet form so we could keep track of when he ate, slept, pooped, etc. It served it's purpose, but having a couple dozen sheets of paper laying out on the counter was annoying. We really like the idea of this product, and wish we had found out about this earlier.

Plus, electronic doo-dads are cool!
