It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas...

Even though most retail stores had their Christmas decorations up right after Halloween, it took us until last weekend to get ours up. This year, though, we have a couple of new hands to help us with the decorations!

First, Ethan helped me unwrap all of the Christmas ornaments from their wrappers, while carefully folding each piece of tissue paper. Ethan - don't eat that!!



We made sure to keep all of the non-breakable ornaments lower on the tree (for obvious, crawl-y reasons). Ethan found a silver bell that he loved - he wouldn't put it down! And don't eat that either!

The next step was to hang the ornaments on the tree. Here, it may look like Ethan is simply reaching for a fragile ornament hanging on the tree that I had put there moments before, but he actually put the hook on it and hung it himself - honestly!

Ethan was a wonderful helper, and the only thing left to do is wrap the presents and put them under the tree!
