He instantly loved it! Though we had to keep him from from immediately jumping up and down on it. Ethan did a thorough inspection of the bed, including checking on how sturdy the safety bar was:

Since the first night, Ethan has done incredibly well! We haven't woken up to a little boy tickling our feet...yet...
