It's official - we're in the home stretch. Our due date is just one month away! Kinley is getting bigger and bigger and so are her movements, often making it a little uncomfortable for mommy. But we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
According to BabyCenter, here's what Kinley is up to:
Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that she's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it's so snug in your womb, she isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times she kicks should remain about the same. Her kidneys are fully developed now, and her liver can process some waste products. Most of her basic physical development is now complete — she'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.
And for us, it's starting to dawn on us how close we are to having a little girl join us. I feel like we're ready, but I'm sure there are at least a few things that we havn't thought of yet. Diapers? check.... Crib? check... Anxious to meet Kinley? double check!
