Looking through all of the pictures, there seemed to be two themes: water and golf!
After going to play at McDonald's during a power outage...
...they went to play at the pool!
The whole pool was shallow, so Ethan was able to run around and wear himself out all by himself!
...including riding on the turtle!!
Not only did Ethan get to play in the water at the pool, but he also got went playing on a slip n' slide at Creekbend. Since it was a Lightening McQueen slip n' slide, you can just hear Ethan say "I AM SPEED!"
The other theme for the weekend was golf. GM and GP gave Ethan his very own little driver and Uncle Keith gave him a wedge and a putter. Here he is practicing on a green to get his shots down:
Then on Saturday, they went to a fun center to play around. They went bowling (where Ethan got a strike)...
...and they played putt-putt, where Ethan got his very first hole-in-one! And yes, he brought his own putter to the putt-putt course!
And while Ethan had fun with his grandparents, Jill and I had a little fun too! Saturday evening we went to our favorite restaurant for dinner, then to one of our favorite dessert places. It was great to have a quiet house for the weekend and sleep past 7 am!
Thanks again GM and GP for keeping Ethan! He had a blast, and we had a great time too!
