Answer: training wheels!!
Tonight we decided that Ethan was finally ready to pedal like a big boy! He wasn't hesitant at all - he thought he was totally ready as well. In fact, he even offered to help me take them off.
In no time, we were ready to go:
We started at the end of the cul-de-sac and I gave him a little push to get up a little steam....
...and he was on his own in no time! The only thing he was having a hard time with was starting and stopping.
In no time at all, he was riding circles around the street and smiling for pictures with each pass. We're so proud of our little big boy!
