Interesting factoid: Mixed baby formula spoils rather fast. In fact, the FDA says that mixed formula needs to be disposed of within one hour of mixing. So if down the line we want to take Ethan out for the day, how do we handle the formula? When we worked at the nursury at church, we saw the compartmentalized pre-measured formula containers that you just mix in with a bottle of water, but that always seemed kind of messy.
Enter the Umix Travel Bottle. It is a two chamber bottle that stores the formula separate from the water. The top part swivels, so at an angle it is closed; then when it's feeding time, just straighten it out, shake, and feed!
This is a cool idea and it is truly innovative. Someone saw a need, thought of a way to meet the need, and made it smartly.
The company has other bottles with the same technology, but I thought this was pretty slick.
