Now, I'm not sure if ducks eat moldy bread, but there just seemed something wrong about that. So being the wonderful humanitarians (or in this situation, duck-itarians) we are, we took out some of our fresh bread and headed to the pond.
We saw the ducks and Ethan waved to say hello!
There were ducks aplenty. We even saw a momma duck and some baby ducklings.
But we found out that ducks in the middle of the afternoon really aren't hungry. Either that, or someone already brought them lunch and they were all full. That might have been the case given that we saw quite a few napping in the shade. But Ethan wasn't having any of that - we were there to feed them whether they liked it or not!
All in all we didn't end up feeding many ducks. Maybe we'll try another time of day next time, or perhaps they just like moldy bread after all!

Did Ethan wear his "Duck, Duck, Moose" shirt? Or is it too big for him?
Kev - yup, he sure did! You can't really read it in the pictures, but he was wearing it!
Awesome.
loved the pictures! How fun it is to see everything through a child's eyes. This reminds me of a favorite book of Taylor's called Make Way for Ducklings by Robert McCloskey. We can still tell you the names of those ducks! So I guess ya'll both were ok about the Cards vs Stros? Miss ya'll,Sheri
