This past weekend the three of us packed up our bags and took a little trip to St. Louis for Jill's 10 year high school reunion.
This time we went out to Rumbach's pumpkin patch where Ethan practiced saying the word "pumpkin." A lot.
We also went on a tour of the Anheuser-Busch brewery and Ethan got to see the world-famous clydesdale horses. So he practiced saying "horse". A lot.
Here, Ethan was too interested in looking at the horse instead of the camera...
Though we ended up doing some different things, this trip reminded me of our last trip to STL back when Jill was pregnant.
For example, we went apple picking at Eckert's farm (but this time with a little boy)...
...we ate ourselves silly at Imo's Pizza (but this time had to feed a little boy)...
...and we also got to see Aunt Heather (and Uncle Tim, but he didn't make this picture).
But this trip marked another milestone for Ethan: his first plane ride! He behaved very very well with his little backback and monkey. He also got his name announced on the plane for some special recognition!
And like any good traveller, Ethan relaxed with a viewing of an Elmo DVD.

I was so glad to get to see you guys at the football game. We got to hear Ethan say football a lot even if it's not quite the same as TEXAS football! He is adorable!
