This year we spent New Years in the big D with Nonnie, Poppy, and T. One of the malls had a toy train exhibit and we decided to check it out. Ethan was enthralled. Amazingly we made it through without him touching any of the moving trains whew! They even had a Thomas the Tank Engine on the tracks!
Then while out we treated ourselves to a Sprinkles cupcake! Mmmmmm!
New Years Eve we celebrated with the East Coast because Ethan gets up early. And we don't take naps during the day. And apparently midnight keeps getting later and later. And we're getting old.
We also got a chance to go out to Texanna and see some horses. Ethan is getting braver and even got up the nerve to give them some treats!
And one of the highlights of our trip was getting to see some friends. One afternoon Jill and Ethan went to go see Leslie and Harper. The kiddos were so cute together!
And we also got to see John and Amanda. How about that guys? You made it on the blog!
