Re-starting the Registery

It begins all over again! Over the weekend we went out to Babies R Us to start up Kinley's registery. Getting this set up made us think of the last time we did it - wow, that feels like a LONG time ago.

But having Ethan with us this time, we passed the scanning torch on to him. Just holding the little scanning gun, Ethan got giddy with excitement.


And it did not take long for him at all to figure out how it worked. All we needed to do was tell him what to shoot it at.


Left on his own, though, he wanted to scan EVERYTHING - including his baby sister!

And there was no lack of little pink things to scan. It took all our willpower to not scan every single one.

But, as good as Ethan is, he still has the attention span of a 3-year-old. The scanner was some good entertainment, but it lasted all of 8 minutes then it was off to something else. That "something else" was a bike that was way too little. So for the rest of the trip, Ethan followed us around the store helping to point out what we need.
