What is this "Official Big-Sibling Activity"? It's leaving hand prints along the walls of the hospital. The hallways all through the post-partum and labor and delivery are filled with them! So after dinner, we took Ethan to leave his own mark.
First, Ethan got his pick of colors - of course, he picked red! One of the nurses got out the paint and got him red-handed.
Then, it was hands to the wall! We made sure that Ethan knew that this was a one-time thing and that we CANNOT do this at home.
Once the handprints were up, we wrote down his name, his sister's name, and her birth date. Ethan then reminded me that this was a one-time thing and I CANNOT do this at home. Smart boy.
So Ethan left his mark at the hospital for all to see. What a proud big brother!

That's an awesome tradition! If we have another one, we'll have to do it. What? We need to ask the hospital for permission? Nah, it's easier to beg forgiveness. Or check out and hope that they don't notice until after the bills are settled...
