For the Fourth of July this year we went to see Uncle Kevin in Waco. Kevin loves to show us the local flavor of Waco and this weekend was no different. For example, he took us to see Darwin the Gorilla - a concrete gorilla that wears different costumes depending on the holiday or current event. This being Independence Day, Darwin was dressed in his red, white and blue.

After the Darwin stop, it was off to the park to get our spot for the fireworks. We went to the fireworks show hosted by the Brazos Nights in Indian Springs park. Thankfully, it wasn't too hot to hang outside for a few hours.

The fireworks show was great and we had a blast hanging out with everyone. Thanks for an awesome weekend, Uncle Kevin!
