Trip to Nonnie and Poppy's - Part 1

Ethan and I spent a week with my parents, enjoying some needed help from my parents and visits from friends. On Wednesday, Wendi and her kiddos joined us for swimming and lunch. We had a great time catching up and talking about little girls. Wendi and I have been friends for 7 years and I'm so blessed to have witnessed her Godly approach with her boys and now Georgia. Ethan and Barrett are just 2 months apart and Georgia and Kinley will be about 4 months. Too bad this sweet family lives in Doha, but that's just the selfish side of me. I'm so glad they're following God's will and are seeing all He has across the world.

Mrs. Wendi and Georgia (our first visit with this sweet 2 month old little girl)

Ethan asked to hold baby Georgia, so sweet! After the Junods headed back to Honey's house, Ethan asked me when it was his turn to hold Kinley.

Eating lunch and being silly

We headed to a splashpad on Thursday to enjoy water outside of the pool. Our little athlete wanted to play soccer the entire time we were there.

Taking a very short soccer break to cool off

Nonnie and Poppy treated us to a Rangers games. We headed to Rangers' Stadium for a great game on Thursday night.

Ethan had so much fun cheering on the Rangers to a win

Poppy bought Ethan a Rangers' baseball and little bat to add to his collection. Ethan insisted on sleeping with the bat and ball the rest of the trip.
