Kinley's Room!

We've finished up Kinley's room and we finally have pictures to show! You may notice that it bears a striking resemblance to Ethan's nursery. We loved that room so much, we wanted to do the same thing for Kinley, but add a few "girl" touches.

So the sheep theme is the same and I added a few extra above her crib. This actually isn't the same crib that Ethan had, partly because that crib got recalled, and partly because he chewed off much of the top railing. Other "girly" touches include the dress form that Jill re-painted and the little flowers on the wall with the sheep:

Next to the crib is the most comfortable chair ever. No, really - it's super-comfy. Only this time, we got the rocking ottoman to go with it! It's comfy, but sitting on the chair is much better.

Moving around the room, we have a twin bed for when we don't feel like going all the way downstairs after feeding/changing/burping the baby. And there in the corner is a little stuffed animal hammock with some of our old favorites.

Opposite of the bed is the changing table with Kinley's name on the wall:

And finally, on the floor is the sheep rug:

So that's the room! It's so comforting to be in the room and remembering having all of this around with Ethan. But it's also a room that is now uniquely hers. Ethan loves going in and just hanging out - looking at her books, checking out the crib, etc.
Now all we need is to get the baby in there!
