Wendi and her gang live in Doha, pretty much the other side of the world. Wen was there to help me figure out what in the world I was to do with a little boy (she had Brooks who is 15 months older than E) and then 2 months after Ethan came along, Barrett joined the Junods. Miss Georgia was born in April and Wendi and I are both loving the frills of having a little girl after getting the opportunity to be boy mommas first. There are often times that I want to stomp my feet and say it's not fair that she isn't here for us to put E and Bear in t-ball together and take the girls shopping, but I know that God's plans for them is not here and I'm merely thinking earthly things and being selfish.
We're so thankful that Les and Harper journied over to McKinney after an exhausting day to spend a some quality time with us. Brad was so sweet to entertain E and H and let the mommas have some visiting time. Isn't it awesome to have such amazing friends that you just catch up where you left off? And to have our big kids only 3 weeks apart is so much fun, little playmates, prom dates, whatever you want to call it ;)
Katherine, one of Brad's cousins, brought her family to Houston to celebrate Christmas. We had fun getting together and catching up with them and the kids enjoyed some playmates. I loved talking mommy stuff with Katherine and finding out some doctor advise. Kat is in med school and helped me understand why in the world our pediatrician won't just "fix" my kids when we go see him. Thanks! Maddie and Matidla were precious and so sweet to Ethan and Kinley Rae and these two LOVE shoes, our kinda girls!
Our favorite thing about the break (besides celebrating the birth of our Savior) was getting to visit with friends and family. It's great to have a break to visit with people that help us grow in so many ways. So thankful for people who traveled to see us and for letting us soak you up for just a little bit. Love you all!

Oh my goodness...so sweet and makes me miss you all so much. Might be moving this summer and get to do all that fun stuff together. If not, I'm still so so thankful God has given me you and your consistent sweetness as a friend. Thank you! Enjoy your 4 year old and your bundle of pink. LV! XOXO!
Wendi Elizabeth, don't even tease me like that! Moving! I can't even imagine how happy Honey will be when you're back in (hopefully) the Lone Star State. Talk to you soon!
