Last weekend we went up to Dallas to see Nonnie and Poppy, Auntie Morgan, and Aunt CC. But above all, the visit included a trip to the Texas State Fair.
We ate all kinds of junk food - a staple of the state fair. For example, Ethan got his own Fletcher's Corny Dog.
We also got to see some celebrities - such as Elsie the Cow and Big Tex!
Livestock was another big draw where we were able to see a 900 pound pig as well as pig races (no, the 900 pound pig did not race...).
Overall, it was a wonderful trip and we look forward to going back next year. I'll be saving up my points now....(sorry - weight watcher's joke).
