Tonight we had a fantastic first Halloween! We met up with one of Jill's co-workers who lives in one of the neighboring subdivisions for some trick-or-treating.
This neighborhood does it slightly differently, though. First, there is a Halloween parade. A fire truck starts at one end of the street and ends up down in one of the cul-de-sacs. While it drives, all of the kids and parents make the parade behind it. Once the parade ends, the firefighters pass out glow-in-the-dark necklaces.

Then the trick-or-treating begins! The wave of kids begin where the parade ends and work their way back across the subdivision. A lot of people were sitting out in their driveway to meet us with the candy.
People loved Ethan in his little lion costume, but I think some of them thought we were just using him to get candy. Are they right? Well, we won't exactly be keeping all the Kit-kats around until Ethan gets more teeth...

Yep. Using the baby for the candy. You're guilty.
That is the cutest little lion I have ever seen. I love Ethan-

Ethan has the cutest little grin in that first picture. Awesome.
