Hawaii - Day 6

Our next-to-last day in Maui was a busy one! The girls too Ethan to Napili Bay Beach to play in the sand and enjoy some treats.

Then, while Ethan napped, Jill, Morgan, and Steph went to make their own leis. They turned out beautiful!

And while they did that, Jill's dad and I went down to south Maui and played golf at the Wailea Golf Course. It was a beautiful course and had plenty of nice, wide fareways. And quite a few of the holes had great views of the west Maui mountains, or Molokini crater.

After some rest in the afternoon and an early dinner, we loaded up to go to Lahaina to do some souvenir shopping. In the middle of the town, there's this huge tree - the Banyan tree. It is a massive, sprawling tree with long low branches and tons of places for kids to climb.

Ethan loved having these placed to climb - he saw the bigger kids climbing higher and he wanted to go up there too!

We also wanted to go and get some shave ice, but the place we wanted to go to was closed! Drat! But we still had time to go on the way to the airport, so it could wait.

It was a busy day, but we wanted to get as much in as we could before we left! Only a few more hours of time in Maui...
