We wanted to make sure that we made the most of our final day in Maui. We first went to the beach to give Ethan some more sand-playing time. Jil and I went snorkelling and even saw some dolphins out in the distance!
On the way to the airport, we made a stop in Lahaina to get some shave ice at the Local Boy Snack Shop. This stuff was great - the ice is shaved, not crushed, so it is much lighter in texture. And we also get a scoop of ice cream at the bottom. We loved it!
Then we had an overnight flight to get back to Houston. Thankfully, Ethan slept the entire plane ride! We had him in his Thomas pj's and he loved pulling around his Thomas suitcase.
We had such a wonderful trip and can't wait to go back! But no matter the trip, it's always great to be back at home.
